We listened...

Thanks for all of your constructive feedback on the AEM-100. Based on your suggestions, we created a more scratch friendly AEM-100i.

The first thing you'll notice is the color coding. With all of the various sections it's helpful to be able to look at the mixer and figure out what section does what.

So what happened to the Fader Cuts? Many of you thought it was too much and got in the way of scratching. We still have them on the original AEM-100 but here we figured give you a clean faceplate on the AEM-100i. Getting rid of the Fader Cuts also allowed us to put back the upfader curves and reverse switches.

A good mixer should feel as good as it sounds and functions. So we replaced all of the knobs with color coded rubber knobs. If you get a chance to work with the mixer, you'll notice that having these knobs makes it easier to work the mixer, especially in the effects section.

As the AEM-100i is based on the original AEM-100, see the original AEM-100 for more background info.
